Dr. Gordon, a native of Galway, qualified in Dentistry with honours from Trinity College Dublin. He then spent 4 years in London in private general practice where he developed a keen interest in all areas of cosmetic dentistry.

After completing fellowship exams at the Royal College of Surgeons in London he returned to Dublin to combine private general practice with teaching in the Dublin Dental Hospital.  In 1996 Dr. Gordon then became one of the very few overseas applicants to be accepted in an Orthodontic Specialty Training Program in the USA where he gained a Master’s degree in Orthodontics from the prestigious Marquette University in Wisconsin.

In 1999 Dr. Gordon opened his state of the art purpose built practice in Galway.  Since then he has had the privilege of providing world-class braces and smiles to many wonderful adult and child patients from Galway, the West of Ireland and beyond! To ensure that we only use the very latest in Orthodontic technology Dr. Gordon attends numerous conferences abroad every year and indeed works with several companies in developing new products. He also lectures at home and abroad.

As a large Platinum provider of Invisalign aligners Dr. Gordon can totally customise and design his aligner system to treat the most complex cases to the same standards as regular braces.

Dr. Gordon’s goal for all his patients is to provide impeccable service not just by providing the latest in braces but by the care and professionalism of all the staff at Galway Orthodontics.

When not treating patients, Dr. Gordon likes to spend quality time with Cora, his wife and teenage boys Matthew and Andrew. They all enjoy biking, swimming, tennis and supporting Connacht Rugby, Galway GAA and Arsenal FC .
